about Me

Hi, I'm Natalie. I use food, movement, and lifestyle as my medicine, and I work as a yoga professional and Integrative Nutrition Coach in Irvine, California.

About 7 years ago, after visiting my extended family in the Russian countryside-- we called it the "dacha" -- I lost 15 pounds in 5 weeks. I had been in college for 3 years prior to that summer, gained the "freshman 15" after starting to date my foodie boyfriend, developed a weird sort of gassiness and sluggishness in my body, and I had committed to studying pharmaceutical science to understand how to heal the body with what I thought was medicine.

While in Russia, I had eaten ice cream every single day, not exercised, not kept a food journal, not set any intentions, not counted any calories, nor stepped on a scale. Magically, my acne cleared, the fat fell off my body, my brain fog lifted, my gut stopped bloating, and my chronic fatigue and anxiety disappeared.

I made a commitment upon returning to the USA to introduce elements of my experience at the dacha in living simply to heal the body from the inside out. I help my clients create lifestyle adjustments to facilitate personal and health transformation in a way that honors our natural rhythms, while still keeping pace with modern life.
